Week 20 2021 Hi y’all here I’m with another round of 9 Albums/EPs you should listen to released all of them recently (if you want you can take a look to our previous week here).
.- Nkos From Dust To Life Debut Album “a synth-wave meets techno meets trip-hop creation that conveys our most dystopian present. From nightclubbing to long party nights under late neon city lights, you can find it all in here”. You can read our review here. Electronic / New Wave UK London.
.- Speak, Memory Adirondack “focuses on the shifting elements of nature, and how the volatility of it all often reflects our current economic and political climate”. Post-Rock / Cinematic USA Oklahoma City. You can read our review here.
.- Evan McRae. Only Skin Debut Album If you’re into Americana or Folk this is for you, a truely thing of beauty. UK
.- LevyPhillinois Blue Haze “After a five year musical hiatus, Phil Gerigscott, the artist behind Phillinois, returns with a collection of avant-pop/rock songs which straddle the intersection of warm nostalgia and bleak disorientation”. Avant-garde / Indie Pop USA Portland.
.- Gannnet Green House In her own words: “I am the sole songwriter, performer and producer on pretty much the whole of this EP. It is my lockdown passion project, exploring important current issues of climate change and environmental problems.
This is my ‘Kid A moment’, heading into the left field, exploring climate change through sound art, expressive vocals and electronic production”. Avant-garde / Alternative Pop UK Sheffield
.- T.V. Generation DCxPC Live Vol 2 “Punk with a cause! DCxPC LIVE is back again! This time with the sweaty, greasy punk attitude from TV Generation and The Sinema! This is their second release, and a benefit for Uncle Lou’s: Orlando’s CBGBs and best DIY venue in Florida. All money goes to support Uncle Lou’s!” You can read our review here. Punk USA Orlando
.- Linda Bugatti driving with my windows down In her own words “This mixtape invites you to a dreamy and soulful universe that soothes your mind and soul”. Downtempo / chillout Sweden Stockholm.
.- Satila Plan B Finnish artist and songwriter Sätilä creates alternative indie pop for quarter life crisis.
- A Tree On A Hill Mellow Waves “Let yourself go, let yourself drift, the water finds its way from the source to the sea. On this journey it splashes over stones, falls down steep slopes and flows leisurely in the wide riverbed until it becomes an ocean in the sea”. Instrumental / Ambient
