Calming River, Cuffs, Mighloe and More…

June 06, 2021.

Week 22 2021 Hi y’all here I’m with another round of 9 Albums/EPs you should listen to released all of them recently (if you want you can take a look to our previous week here).

1.- Calming River  Dead Bluebottles Supine “This is not a catchy indie-folk record. This is a poignant, alt-folk record that has steered off the mainstream path. It takes risks: some pass, others perhaps not. Admittedly, it is a dark album”. Fantastic album you don’t want to miss it. You can read our review for doble singleJejune/For Edward here. Indie Folk / Ambient UK London.

2.- Cuffs Factory Sessions “It’s no secret that everyone misses live shows, the passion, the energy, the unity. With this release CUFFS wanted to capture their raw, high energy live shows, which they pride themselves on into a half hour live set, which they also filmed. The full live video drops on 28th May 8pm CUFFS YouTube channel. This live album was recorded in one take at Factory Studios in Bristol with no overdubs. Engineered and produced by Matthew Cook, mastered by Pete Maher Mastering and Filmed by Mitchel’s Visuals”. Hardcore punk / punk UK Bristol

3.- Mighloe. Desperate Times “Throughout this record, we are gifted with Mighloe’s unique ability to transport us inwards and paint vivid stories using powerful lyrics that double as brush strokes of emotion. Possessing an impressive range, Mighloe’s EP speaks to how both sorrow and triumph make up our existence”. You can read our review for single “Don’t Call Me” here. R&B Canada, Toronto.

4.- Billy Boguard Eros Debut EP   “French Mellow Pop singer-songwriter based in London, who writes, plays and sings from the heart, adding to it a blend of imagination, psyche and fantasy that culminate to betray his own feelings to find the simple truth of storytelling”. Indie Pop

5.- Sunglasses For Jaws Everybody’s Made Of Bones Almost 44 minutes of psychedelic/rock for our enjoyment. UK London.

6.- deep tan creeping speedweells   Only four tracks in this debut EP but hot all of them you need to give it a listen to this post-punk trio UK London.
