Week 28 2021 Hi y’all here I’m with another round of 9 Albums/EPs you should listen to released all of them recently (if you want you can take a look to our previous week here).
- Jenny Hallahan This Life “This Life is an exploration of jazz and life itself. Jenny Hallahan proposes strong ideas and explores them throughout. With harmonic and rhythmic complexity and instrument interactions that resemble those of human relationships… keep ready our review here. Jazz / Instrumental Ireland, Kildare. You also can buy the album and support the artist.
.- Zorastead Inner Rails Emotions are a blessing and a curse of humankind. More often than not they hit harder than one would like and look like a layered mess of several balls of yarn. A fearless artist I’m about to introduce has taken this aforementioned mess and turned them into their debut album speaking about all those emotions that make us human in all their beautiful and damned glory.you can keep ready our review here.
.- Ruiz! Mind Games One artist that I really enjoy and this is his debut album and you can read our review for Please Baby Please, here. Alternative Rock / Indie Rock UK
.- As Time Fades Trust Fall “The EP is full of soaring choruses, driving riffs, and introspective lyrics. It’s time for the band to take a trust fall as they continue the work to establish themselves in the strong scene of DIY pop punk and emo music”. Alternative Rock / Punk Rock US Cleveland
.- Maki Flow Can’t Act My Age We have reviews for a couple of this tracks that you can check out here in case you missed it for Better Alone and Everything I’m Not and you don’t miss to listen to this EP.
.- Lex Leosis Terracotta “Toronto-based queer alt-hip hop artist, Lex Leosis, shares her EP, Terracotta, — just in time for peak summer vibes. The now Tiktok rap battle champ is also debuting a brand new video for “That Feel,” which shows an easy, breezy afternoon of skating in the sunshine. Leosis’ signature attitude is in full force in video with her lioness hair, long nails and high energy.” Hip Hop / Rap Canada Toronto.
.- Evervynigt Good Vibes In his own words: “I’m an upcoming alternative rapper making music for some time together with yorka. productions. I’m trying out many styles to see which fits me best, but after all I consider myself rather versatile. Good Vibes is only a spark of these ideas. Peace!” Hip Hop / Trap / RAP Germany Frankfurt
.- Morgan Houston The Coast blends thoughtful storytelling with guitar-driven melodies and organic soundscapes and we have the review for the track The Way It Goes here for you. Folk Pop / Folk Rock US
.- Rob Quo Let It Spin “With a little something for everyone, ‘Let It Spin’ is the Brainchild of Rob Quo & his producer Gus White. Built up around the latest batch of Quo material, and then shaped by the make-shift band of long-time collaborators hand-picked for the project, the EP is an exploration of the unique musical relationship of this diverse group of players”. Alternative Rock / Folk Rock Uk
