The unimaginable has happened. An epic collaboration between two of the greatest new bands out there is soon to be available. Y’all not ready for the “Existential Dread“. OUT NOW!
Oh my God guys, it is really happening. The first collaboration ever between the Nasty and the Unicorns is finally arriving. We all know what they sound like individually, but the conjunction of both forces is something outside the books. Let’s get to it!
Chances are you already know about these rising phenomenons. If you haven’t, c’mon bro, where have you been? The transatlantic horse-headed duo and the eclectic masters of 2 minute garage punk nonsense are two of the best bands the pandemic gifted us with.
In “Existential Dread” we encounter a mix like no other. A hot-as-hell bass line, a gritty and steady drum beat, and a mother-fucking saxophone-like melody. The Unicorns provide the existential lyrics with a palpable bittersweetness to them (just as they like it). The Nasty holla in the background with their unmistakable presence and foundational mastery.
Harmonized vocals, ethereal ask and response chants. Glittering guitar phrases. An unstoppable rhythm that goes on and on with a filthy attitude. This collaboration is everything you’d thought it’d be, and more. I looked around and all I found was “Existential Dread”.
This is real art. Play it, enjoy it, love it and share it with the world.
Is it Punk? Is it Alternative? I’ve no idea. A new child has born and it is ready for us to delight upon. The song surely gives lots to talk about. Both bands have worked hard all year, and in a way this collaboration marks a pause for both before the next onslaught begins.

9 o’clock Nasty will return with something very different in October. Prepare yourself for “Sleepy Policeman.”
