Wow, this is it guys, the final quarter of the year official is here! What a great week was this one, damn, I have trouble picking my album of the week (I’ve been posting since a few weeks ago on my Linktr.ee my favorite album), well kind of lie, wasn’t that way exactly, I have a love at first listen with my pick but what I was trying to say is that I have a lot of great stuff this week (maybe more than the usual and that’s a lot to say, I know it).

 Thank you so much for being here, I’m really pleased with our numbers growing every single week, I hope you keep enjoying this your round up for 9 Albums/EPs you should listen to, this time Week 39.

This week I want to invite you to visit our the playlist Autumn Acoustic Yes, you’re right, tracks released only during this this season of the year, all easy listening, acoustic, and relax but be careful that you might be dropping a tear or two, always 50 tracks, right now 18 from this year and the rest from 2021, always a good companion for a cup of coffee or tea (as you prefer) or why not your favorite drink. This one is on my profile exclusively for 3 months and then goes to the shadows, so this is your chance to enjoy it.

I know, if you’re here constantly, probably you start feeling sick and tired of my reminder but if you’re already aware you can skip this part but important is to have it mind. Please support these artists in the way you can and at the same time that’s easy for you, to mention a few: stream, like (heart their songs on the platform that you use), follow their profiles all over social media, share them with you loved ones, add them to your playlists, pre-save their upcoming releases and if you can go to their live performances that would be the ultimate experience in support and enjoyment for you both.

Most of these albums are recently released (and important to say that you always can take a look back at our previous week recommendations Michael Donoghue, The Brouhaha, Motihari Brigade, and more…, for the whole 2022 or 2021).

ALL ALBUMS/EPS SUBMITTED AND DISCOVERED VIA MUSOSOUP

1.- The Baker’s Basement in their own words: “These Wild Wild Sheep have been floating around our world for a couple years now. In fact, they’ve probably been floating around a lot longer, just waiting to be set free with musical wings. In a certain way, the song “Wild Wild Sheep” is an embodiment of our process and creative spirit.” You can read our review here.

2.- A dark atmosphere engulfs us. The sun is at its peak, as we travel through the desert. An unknown journey awaits us in V/Terpan’s brand-new release Sun, an electronic rock EP that broods personality and style. It is a metaphoric adventure that reflects about love in every possible way, transforming its own soundscape to take guide us through every variant of it: hot, cold, close and distant. V/Terpan has crafted a marvelous EP which expands his sound in an exciting fashion. You can read our review here.

3.- It wouldn’t be wrong to consider this album a masterpiece. A delightful collection of funky tracks with uplifting Latin melodies, mixed with a delicious groove and all the excitement of Rock. If you’re into music that will make your soul vibrate you must LISTEN TO “REFLEXIÓN” by Eljuri. You can read our review here.

 

4.- This debut EP is a completely explorative collaboration between two very talented musicians. “Only Bodies” teases with the digital qualities of electronic music, adding its own personality through subtle nuances of Trip-Hop and Dream Pop.  You can read our review here.

5.- Home to 10 songs with a total runtime of roughly 37 minutes, The Connecting Dots’ new release is a journey through a collection of moods and spaces and a harder, more diverse follow-up to the debut release “Oblivious Beat“. Quite aptly, the album’s title, “Treasures in the Valley” is reflective of that as well as hinting on the awe-inspiring sounds awaiting to be heard. You can read our review here.

6.- Kit Citrine’s new album “Midnight Masquerade” is an autobiographical release looking into the artist’s life events from the past 2 years. Home to 15 songs and running for 45 minutes, the album covers a variety of highly relevant themes ranging from mental health issues, sexual identity and LGBTQ+, illnesses, particularly cancer and Alzheimer’s, as well as giving space for the smaller joys in life.  You can read our review here.

           7.- For the first time ever, this fantastic Live performance of one of Richmond’s most acclaimed and legendary Punk bands Ann Beretta is now available in Vinyl. “Like A Riot!” is a beautifully played, pristinely recorded album of Punk tracks turned into an acoustic set.  You can read our review here.

8-  “Work” debut album by Max Benjamin in his own words, “As a songwriter, I think it’s fun to try to approach each track from a different angle, using different songwriting techniques. So each track has a slightly different message, some more abstract than others and some written from the perspective of a character or a story. In general though, I think the album has a theme of encouragement and I hope the album will be a reminder to people to not be so hard on themselves – everyone’s human and we all go through ups and downs.’

9.- Garden of the Gods by Pete Cautions it’s a love letter, especially, to all things psychedelic, new and old, to the very experience of psychedelics themselves. And that’s what Garden of the Gods is ultimately: a facsimile of a psycho-spiritual journey distilled to 40 minutes, every song a new character, a new guide, a new god.

Some other releases that you can also check are Future Colours with their EP Your Light Is A Beacon, Low Key Crush with their EP Bats Over The Eastern Freeway, Cabus and his EP Psycho, and last but not least The Youth Play with their EP Closer to the Light.
