Hey, I’m back with 9Albums/EPs You Should Liste To Week 17 thank you for your support and for being part of this blog, the album of the week is for Solar Soundz and DJ Flipcyide and their debut album “Fantastic Beats And Where To Find Them”, but not the only gem here, Alec Berlin release his last track last Thursday part of his album Space Punk & Other Junk and today Yana release her debut album “Journey of the Soul”, so we have a lot to enjoy.
Yana releases her meaningful debut LP full of Irish sound and deep themes “Journey of the Soul”
“Journey of the Soul” Yana’s emotive vocals have a mystifying side with a direct connection to the spiritual realm, and along with the delicately constructed instrumentals, she has created music that feels very close to the soul and amplifies what’s basically the true essence of being a human.
Yana “The Traveller”
“The Traveller” is also the last single to drop before the arrival of Yana’s debut album titled “Journey of the Soul”. Earthy intertwined with spiritual, Yana’s delicate, meaningful music sings of life in ways that simply can’t leave anyone cold.
Yana’s gloomy new single “Funeral of Life”
“Funeral of Life” is the third and final single coming from Yana this year. This and the previous two songs will be part of Yana’s upcoming debut album called “Journey of the Soul”, set to release soon.
Yana “Calm Before the Storm”
This single was influenced by some very sad news- the sudden death of a fellow bright artist in Czech folk scene, a singer and fiddle player Jitka Suranska. Yana didn’t know that artist personally, but hearing of her passing was a shock nonetheless, as she was only 41.
Yana “Reach Out”
Her newest single takes on the topic that’s becoming more important than ever – the importance of having someone to talk to. That’s why the single is titled “Reach Out”, serving as a call to find someone to share your troubles with. The song’s guitar playing and reverb make the atmosphere feel damp as if it’s soaked with tears. That is contrasted by the soothing and caressing guitar and her voice, the latter of which feels very sad, like an empathetic person echoing the sorrow of their friend.

C-Beem – Tales From Tono
‘Tales From Tono’ came to me as a kind of projection from my previous EP ‘C-Beem And The Winter Thickets’. I wanted to capture a magical, folkish feel to a new project but in a different context and with a different sound. I live in an island country full of myth and legend, and I wondered what equivalents there might be in Japan, because it’s been said that Japan is like the British Isles of the East – a parallel country which has always fascinated me, though I’ve never been there.
