“I first came up with the opening lyrics and melody while on tour with Ashe. We had landed in Nashville to play Bonaroo, coming off a flight from tour in Paris the day before. I sometimes will have an idea pop into my head and this one hit me as I was walking to the elevator in the hotel in Nashville. Whipped my phone out and recorded a quick voice memo before heading to play Bonaroo with her! Jeremy loved the idea when I shared it with him and we wrote the whole song based off that initial jumping point.”

Blind Man’s Daughter is a melodic progressive metal band from Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. The project started out in 2012 with founding member Ashley Wolfe writing songs, singing lead vocals, and playing guitar in Durango Colorado. Over the next 10 years, Ashley left Durango and moved around the USA while Blind Man’s Daughter remained Ashley’s passion project, a true labor of love and creative outlet.
