Well, that’s the reason for this playlist “Different Kind Of Christmas” where you’ll be able to listen some great brand-new tunes (and others not that new but equally good) by independent artists with a new way to sing to this time of the year. Kevin Tang AKA Kaiwyn in his own words: “This song was written back at the peak of the pandemic when I was doing overtime in the hospital working in emergency department as a medical doctor. This is also the moment where I felt mortality so close that I finally decided to start working on all the songs that I have written back in teenage years and through medical school. “If not now when?” So, I have been releasing songs since 2022.

Sis PS in her own words: “Oh, I just love Christmas since I can remember. All the typical stuff like American Christmas movies, lights everywhere… the feeling that Bing Crosby’s White Christmas gives you on a cold winter evening. To write a xmas song has always been a dream. So after working solo for about a year, I felt like the time was finally right to put all my heart into some seasonal track.”
“I’ve often been asked, why I’m such a xmas freak. I guess, I just love the idea that this messed up humanity is about love at least once a year. The contradictory thing is, in real life I’m anything but a cheesy person. But I can’t help but hold on to the fact that all meaning always lies in love. So why not once a year put all the bad stuff aside and „Dance, laugh, love & hope for some miracles‘?! And that’s how the lyrics of “Why Not (It’s Christmas)” were born.”

The inspiration behind this EP was to bring a fresh approach to the genre of holiday music. We wanted to bring our different styles together and make music that you would want to listen to every year around the holiday season.
Deck The Halls is more party oriented. Something to get people out of their seats and dance or turn up to. Grab you a drink and have a good time. Wish List is the more Christmas oriented song. A nice, feel good song about wanting to spend on the one that you care about. We actually made these songs a year ago and wanted to release this towards the end of the year when it made more sense to release the project.
