ALL ALBUMS/EPS SUBMITTED AND

DISCOVERED VIA MUSOSOUP

.- With the release of the EP “For Those Who Tremble“, Aglasio shows that hard guitar music can still be rousing, dynamic and expressive in 2024. Aglasio covers the entire spectrum between grunge, rock and metal in 4 tracks.

.- Joshua Lloyd is a British musician, songwriter, MC and producer from London who’s just released his first full length album, “I’m Wasted, Now Welcome to the Show“. It’s an incredibly vulnerable and moving record, exploring thematic such as mental health, heartbreak and addiction from a very candid point of view. Joshua told us that these songs were inspired by his own life before getting clean, seven years ago. You can keep reading our review here.

.- Mia Loucks “Sisko Sisko Demos” In her own words: “I wrote, recorded, and mixed ‘Sisko Sisko Demos’ on an old iPhone 4 (a headache at times but a medium which offers me the crisp yet dirty aesthetic I haven’t been able to achieve with other, more traditional recording devices). I don’t usually adhere to typical song structures and aim rather to capture the atmosphere of the environment I’m in, along with the spontaneous emotions they invoke. Many of these (folk/lo-fi rock/alternative) tracks I recorded in cars, on airplanes, at the beach, in bathtubs, etc.”

.- Mirrors‘ new EP “Envious of the Faithful” encapsulates all of the band’s experience and influences as musicians. The EP contains highly emotive tracks with haunting melodies over dark, reverbed guitars as well as looming bass and drums. Much of the thematic content centres around guilt and isolation while remaining an enjoyable, rewarding listen, highlighting their ability to craft captivating melodies and thought-provoking lyrics that transcend traditional rock boundaries.

.- Jack Raymond is a soloist from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland in Northern Australia and this is his debut album “The Long Story Short”. In his own words: “This project is a Roots/folk/blues mix drawing heavily from artists like Ben Howard, Caamp, Bruce Springsteen. I’ve been in the studio this last year recording and fleshing out these acoustic songs into a full band recording.”

.- Cascade Riot “Life on Venus” about the EP the band says: “There is a weariness that runs throughout the EP. “P.N.C” touches on lack of motivation and alienation. “Cobwebs” expresses a desire to get going again with a life that has come to a standstill. “Chasing Stars” is a call out for someone you haven’t met yet. “I Don’t Want to Fall Asleep” conveys the feeling of sleeplessness and being alone with nothing but your thoughts. “Wall” is about the frustration of not being able to break through to somebody”.

.- Singer, musician, and songwriter Georgie Weston shakes us up a cocktail of soul, jazz and 70s and 80s yacht rock – and fuses them into all five tracks on this joyful first EP. Along with his super-talented backing band, The Ordinary Joes, he breathes life and energy into each song.

.- Brynn Hulls and her debut EP “Aquifer” in the artist’s own words: “I am a vocalist and producer hailing from Newcastle, Australia. It is a four track EP titled ‘Aquifer’ that I wrote, recorded and produced as a one woman show. You can expect to hear emotionally raw, atmospheric tracks with lush harmonies that according to my followers “will make you want to float in a lake in the middle of the woods.””

.- Wrené‘s music defies genre boundaries and embraces a unique blend of soulful vocals, experimental textures, and pop sensibilities. With ‘Quam Sentire‘, an EP born out of personal grief, Wrené’s sonic exploration weaves together unconventional sound profiles, soulful vocals, and shifts into intense, abrasive textures, guiding listeners on a mesmerizing journey.
