This song, with its deeply human and courageous message, conveys through its words and determination the need to make a choice, to say no and to oppose the elements that lead to injustice, discrimination, intolerance and war. Through his own interpretation of this song, Thomas Humbert wants to show that we need to fight together across Europe, especially at a time when tanks are rolling in many places around the world and the rumblings of extremes and isolation are echoing.

YODASHE “EASTER” RELEASED MARCH 27TH
“Yodashe’s Easter is an unapologetic stare into the abyss. It attempts to sonify the turbulence, haziness and disorientation of the early days of the pandemic. It’s a deep dive into the abyss of insecurity, loss and fear of our collective warped, distorted reality.”

“The track is asymmetrical in form. The first part maintains the structure of a pop song with a short pause at the bridge where it takes a courageous dive into chaos. This latter part is violent, turbulent, sinister, dark and any audio processing aims at creating a sensation of dizziness and disorientation. “
“Throughout this process the voice becomes gradually unrecognizable, disembodied, representing our species’ mutation, our gradual transformation into something inhumane and detached via our imposed self-isolation.”
RUSS NELSON “5 AM” RELEASED MARCH 25TH
“5 AM,” is a captivating and energetic track that embodies the essence of alternative rock. From the powerful vocals to the driving guitar riffs, this song grabs hold of your attention and refuses to let go. Its thought-provoking lyrics delve into themes of disillusionment and the search for authenticity, making it a standout track that captures the very essence of alternative rock.

Drawing inspiration from the timeless poetry of T.S. Eliot and the hard-earned lessons of a young adult, ‘5 AM’ takes listeners on a captivating musical odyssey. This track is a fusion of soulful melodies and thought-provoking lyrics, exploring themes of existentialism, self-discovery, and the raw beauty of introspection.
With a deep reverence for Eliot’s ‘The Hollow Men,’ this composition weaves together the poet’s profound wisdom with the artist’s personal experiences, creating a sonic tapestry that resonates with authenticity and emotional depth. As the track unfolds, listeners are invited to embark on a transformative journey, delving into the shadows of the human condition while embracing the light of self-realization.
TWELVE DAYS IN JUNE “numb” released march 22nd.
Turning back the clock & kicking down the door to the golden age of 90s alternative, Twelve Days in June is the studio project of Schenectady, New York’s Dave Hulegaard. Self-described as a “throwback” artist, Dave is a spiritual successor to the wide array of 90s bands who shaped his youth, crafting melodic rock songs with introspective lyrics examining the often-unbalanced human experience.
For first time listeners, I think what they can expect from my music is an expansive playground of different sounds and moods. Sometimes Twelve Days in June can be loud and guitar-heavy, sometimes it can be mellow and spacey, and sometimes it be jangly and melodic. I’m influenced by a fairly broad range of 90s alternative artists, from Smashing Pumpkins to Slowdive to Radiohead to The Lemonheads and so many others in-between!

“I wrote “Numb” while thinking about how confusing break-ups and failed relationships can be. It’s similar to the five stages of grief because we still mourn, but it’s a different type of mourning. We sometimes try to swallow our feelings and move on, which leaves us with these feelings we either can’t let go of or don’t know how. “Numb” is about allowing yourself to feel those feelings because only then can you finally let go of the past and move on.”

wexford “change your mind” released march 01st.
Wexford hails from Sandusky, Ohio. With a sound that blends alternative, punk, and post-hardcore influences, their music is characterized by driving rhythms, intricate guitar work, and raw, emotive vocals.

Change Your Mind is a driving anthem to the goalless wandering and self-doubt in one’s life. The first verse offers a third person point of view of a loved one wandering aimlessly. Ignoring good advice and opportunities. Moving forward. Faith in nothing.
The second verse offers a first persona perspective on one’s own self-doubt and the inability to live up to the expectations one set for themselves. Moving forward. Faith in nothing.
