The video brings back to my memory the lockdown that we as human species have to went through the pandemic, nature resurging, empty streets, we only can see a few weird persons on the video and a few robots.
Madama psychosis “revolution” relesased april 03rd.
“Revolution” is a gritty, high-energy garage rock track that captures the essence of frustration and a call for change. The fierce anthem reflects the band’s commitment to social justice, tackling issues of inequality, discrimination, and the urgent need for transformative change. It is a sonic explosion, featuring powerful guitar effects and distortion that intensify the band’s impassioned message.
“Revolution” is the fastest a song was released after recording. It was recorded in January and all the mixing, mastering, etc., was done by late February – definitely felt fast, especially while we were promoting our previous single from January called “Hopeless”, but we were focused and determined to stick to our release schedule.

“Revolution” is a great gateway song into Madame Psychosis. Listeners of the song – and the band – can expect high energy with a dose attitude and edge. We borrow extensively from alt rock movement of the 90s, but with a more modern, melodic approach. A little punk, a little pop and even some soul – you’ll hear it all when you listen to Madame Psychosis.

I have the opportunity to chat a little with the band about this release, check out some of their thoughts.
“This song was our first collaboration with our producer Casey Sabol, the original vocalist to Periphery. He really pushed us to strip back this track and focus heavily on the vocal melody. Our music normally has a ton going on with more intense drums and tons of guitar work, but it was really fun to pull that back and focus on the theme/lyrics and let our vocalist, Huff, shine.
The story of Ballet Afterlife is meant to touch on losing a loved and what one would go through to get that back. A man makes a deal with the devil to see his love once a year and this request is granted but they go through remarkable pain when meeting as their skin is stripped from them leaving only their bones in their reuniting. After dawn they are made whole again and separated only to have to wait another year to see each other. This continues for eternity.”

The artist talking about the song: “The eternal struggle of life. Ultimately coming to the conclusion that the battles and hardships are merely humor in the grand scheme. It is my belief that this song is perfect for the modern “April Fools”. Combining the fun element of humor, with the depth and darkness of reality. “This A Joke” is the perfect battle cry for the modern listener.

“This A Joke” was never going to see the light of day until my VP/business partner heard the hook in a studio session. He really thought it was something special. I wrote that second verse and recorded the rest of the song that day. I think it really proves that a song can be catchy and have substance”.

Friend of a friend “nothingforme” released march 15th
American duo Friend of a Friend (Claire Molek, Jason Savsani) formed in the summer of 2020 after a lifetime just missing one another. The band describes the process as an almost supernatural experience. “It’s difficult to remember life before the band,” notes Molek, “the opportunity to make music together has completely changed how we relate to ourselves and the world around us.”
This is a single part of their brand-new album “FACILITIES“, recorded in-studio in Joshua Tree, California with Jordan Lawlor (M83, J. Laser). These guys are going places so don’t miss out and give a listen to their album.

TNCS “I Want To Run To The Top Of A Mountain And Scream” RELEASED FEBRURARY 16TH
TNCS is a new band formed last year and the members are: Richie Harrison, songwriter, guitar Tony Carr, singer. Kev Henderson drums. Emma Stubbs keys. Ewan Boiston-Green guitar. Rayyan Styles bass. This song is about modern-day life and its stresses and how to relieve them.

The backstory of this song is a friend called me and said she was stressed and screamed I want to run to the top of a mountain and scream and then screamed which gave me the idea for the song.
