“We have been working hard in the studio, we have recorded all our releases for the year upfront, in Spanish and English! Amelie is fully bilingual. We have also created content for social media, scheduled and ready to go. This year will be exciting!”
JUDY GRANVILLE “BE STILL AND WAIT” RELEASE APRIL 12TH.
“Be Still and Wait by Judy Granville is a musical fable, taking us on a metaphorical walk in the mountains, while at the same time pondering on a time of confusion and uncertainty. Low-lying cloud descends and we are lost! But through the cloud appears a misty figure who offers some advice. What happens next? No spoilers, you have to listen to the song or see the video below.”

we were young “the kids” released april 12th
This song it’s a snapshot of those moments when the band feels more like a battleground, wrapped in indie pop with folk edges.
“Its kind of chill indie pop with more guitar than most indie pop songs. The inspiration came from the ups-and-downs in my
relationship”.

“I recently stopped writing about myself and my own problems. I’m started writing for other people, and I’m finding incredible stories in writing for other people and also about other people. Musicians I think have big demons, but I think I made it through most of mine, so now I can help other people overcome theirs.”
elkvilla “flatline into your arms” released april 12th
“Flatline into Your Arms, is my following track of last years “Better to You” single which is part of a Waterfall EP release”
order “flatline into your arms” ON bandcamp NOW!
“Flatline into your Arms” is about the melancholy happiness to “Flatline” into a lover’s arms. It talks about the daily self-doubts such as “every day is a new ache, that waits for me as I wake” however also the appreciation of being taken care from a loved one through all the fears “You take out the shrapnel that I find and give me the shelter for me to hide”.
plastic tofu “have some faith” released april 11th.
The band consists of Janusz Domaszuk and Andrew Pelletier. In their own words: “We play music that tackles social problems, but it is very melodic and creates a positive experience for the listener. We bring back the 80s and 90s but in a modern or better, current way of expression. Our music is a reminder for people who lived through the 80s and 90s and an introduction to people who did not.”

atlin morgan “can’t let go” released april 06th.
The moodiness and intensity of a James Bond theme song paired with lush and powerful vocals make this dark, break-up ballad and fifth release from Atlin Morgan’s upcoming debut album evocative and memorable.

The song came to me out of the blue. I was busy doing something and suddenly heard the first line “waitin’ for the sunshine in the rain” and at first had no idea what it meant. I went to the piano and my fingers started playing these dark, dissonant chords and the meaning of the song began to reveal itself.
Within 15 min or so the song was complete in its basic form. However, it took a month or so of recording the melody lines over and over for the final melody to be complete. It kept changing until the intensity and emotional expression felt just right. The song isn’t about my present-day experience, but I have been through this feeling in my past.
“First time listeners can expect to feel moved by the moody layers of music I’ve created and have a cathartic experience listening to the track as I push my voice to its physical and emotional limits.”
