LTB’s longing for human connection on new song “Lay With Me”

After the success of “Soul of the South” last month, Annapolis-based artist Logan “LTB” Barnhill is already back with brand new track “Lay With Me”. The R&B influences are still featured front and center on the production, but on his new single Logan adds a little more texture in the form of jazz cadences and pop melodies that make it sound richer and fuller than before.

Drawing inspirations from artists such as James Blake, Joji and Hozier, LTB creates a delicate and sultry atmosphere of intimacy and vulnerability that works beautifully for him. His velvety vocals cut even deeper on this track, as the singer shows a masterful control of tone translated into pitch-perfect melodies and harmonies. “Lay With Me” feels like nicely done step forward, diving head on into the R&B and jazz realms with a graceful landing.
