This dreamy, flowing song finds itself full of love, admiring the desired person and longing for a deeper connection. A wall of mystery surrounds the person, however, and the song continues to yearn for closeness, for a relationship without hidden truths.
Nocturnal atmosphere arises with dimmed synth notes and concrete R&B beats, setting the stage for a grant introspective love theme. LTB’s evocative vocals sing of the perfect mystique of a person he longs to connect with. There’s unspoken secrets and unknown truths kept by the person, making the search for connection difficult.
A long time has already been spent together traveling through life, yet the connection keeps giving timeout. “Mystique” sees the me-character lamenting about not being able to speak or hear the truth, feeling increasingly distant from the loved person. The attraction is still there, and he refuses to give up, but the wall of mystery starts to wear him thin.
LTB, Annapolis-based music producer, crafts evocative electronic sounds flavored with pop and R&B and inspired by the intangible, fleeting emotions. And whether he’s in the studio creating more dreamy soundscapes, or performing live to captivated audiences, the artist finds a way to both soundtrack your late-night life and open a gate to a visceral realm within yourself.
