Released on December 12th, “Christmas Song” is the first festive-themed song coming from The Muster Point Project. Born from the festive traditions held by the artist’s family, the single comes with a burst of happiness, joy and the strong feeling of togetherness, just like a long-awaited Christmas spent with beloved family and friends.
A festive sparkle of tambourines awakens the Christmas spirit. Soon, warm plucked melodies and joyful vocals form a cozy atmosphere just like a decorated dining room with a fireplace and a long table covered in excellent food. The busiest days spent cooking and wrapping presents are over and its now time to wait for Christmas to arrive, together.
The song features laidback drums provided by Marcelo Effori, a Montreal-based drummer, and was originally created a year ago for Christmastime festivities. Those festivities, which include a large get-together of extended family and Italian cuisines, create a strong Christmas magic, which is captured by the single. That night spent together feels like perfect holidays.
The Muster Point Project aka Kevin Franco brings emotions of all kinds into his soft and heart-felt melodies. He’s a singer and multi-instrumentalist with love for combining various elements of pop music to create what is uniquely his – a vibrant blend of indie that speaks to the soul.
