Awaiting Abigail, an amazing Heavy Metal band from Dallas, TX, released their debut single “Bad Mind” just last December. An explosion of high-gain guitars, solid drums, and power-house vocals. Out now!
Formed in 2024, this heavy metal band truly took the industry by storm with their outstanding debut EP. Releasing singles week by week, “Bad Mind” was the first track release by the band with a bang.
A song about inner-strength
Bad Mind speaks of facing mental illness and overcoming it. The overall sound is truly exceptional and the mix hits just right. It is indeed a powerful track that infuses energy and hype.
An amazing vocal performance
Lead singer Abigail, or Abby, is a talented young vocalist and actress studying theatre arts at a local university. Her singing style can be compared to such amazing female rock giants like In This Moment, Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless.
This six-piece band carry the torch as one of the most promising new heavy metal bands today. With top-notch production and flawless execution, they know how to create music that hits like an anvil hammer.
Written in a heavy 7/8 groove, and a half-time breakdown for the chorus Bad Mind electrifies its listeners from the get-go with thrilling guitar solos and aggressive metal riffs.
So, waste no time and listen now!
