The video was produced and directed by Leong Chan with assistance from multidisciplinary artist Jessica Angelique Gabrielli, Genevieve’s long time friend and movement coach. Featuring organic camera moves, we tag along Genevieve as she makes her way through nature landscapes. She dances in communion with the woods as dark lights flash and project stars on her as in increasingly sense of magic and whimsy complete the setting.
“Saturn in Chinos” unveils a highly emotional experience, often bringing forth genuine sentiments of wonder and blending the lines of reality. It’s a breath-taking track, showcasing Genevieve at her very best and turning it into an adventurous lead single for the album. Inspired by Grimes and Chloe Qisha, the video follows its own rules and aesthetics, dreaming of unimagined worlds and beaming with possibility.
