Technotanguero, a duo united by love, has just released their newest song “Overlook”, a lofi track following the visual of a tiny little venue, once busy and now near-forgotten. The remnants of life swaying to the jazzy sound spread by little worn out speakers bring movement to this particular night though, and is now immortalised in a 2-minute song of soothing pleasure.
It’s really late at night now, when most people have already gone home. Streetlights casting shadows with their dim lights and stillness everywhere except for the little place with frayed neon signs and soft music playing. This place isn’t completely empty yet – a couple is slow-dancing there to the beat of music, lost in the moment of night-powered serenity.
A slow beat keeps life moving, as piano melodies found from an old forgotten record fill the air of the old forgotten place. A glimmer of magic is present in the track through bits of echo and little shimmers, and the drowsiness of late night slightly mutes the atmosphere. It’s late, but the energy flows and its infectious nature successfully tempts the viewer to stay around and experience a night of slow-paced romance.
United by love for each other and for music, Technotanguero is a duo consisting of Massimiliano and Ilaria. Music is their gateway to beautiful, mysterious places, such as the near-abandoned old jazz music venue in “Overlook.” The duo’s desire is to find and encapsulate the magical moments fleeting through our lives and remind listeners to keep their senses open and indulge in those brief moments of true beauty.
