San Francisco based artist Michellar returns with a fresh offering, this time of love at first sight crossing roads with danger. The single, named “Intersection”, is also the first time Michellar tried her hand in writing an Americana folk song, and the resulting storyteller song of love shows she is capable of plenty!

In the whirlwind of everyday life with wind blowing in the face, one often gets hit by random leaves, flying papers and occasional accidental nudge from passing people. But when one gets hit by love, suddenly everything changes violently and completely.
That Intersection, whether it’s a real one or a metaphorical place, turns into a place of love and wonder, filled with vocals of hope and the characteristic twirling sound of banjo. A fast beat runs the same speed as the racing heart experiencing a brand new dose of love, and brings energy to the setting. In fact, there is so much of energy all of a sudden, that it becomes magical.

There’s huge amounts of hope and joy in the vocals (provided by Tobias Wilson), as they follow the unexpected burst of love and the resulting traffic-stopping magic. Things get even better if that love is reciprocated, then it can be the busiest street in the world just for the two to dance on.
Michellar and Tobias Wilson is a power duo of musicians, where the former writes music and lyrics, and the latter handles the production as well as vocals this time. During the creation of the single, Michellar was heavily inspired by The Mumford Sons and The Lumineers influencing the Americana sound, and the song was born from the need to create a place of happiness to heal from sadness that had hit her at the time. “Intersection” is a massive dose of happiness, and the best part about the song is you don’t need to have the luck yourself to be the witness of that joy and magic. The single does that for you.
