Carlos Ucedda, an artist with a creative mind and a desire for spreading art is back to present his newest song “Dose of Love”, a multilayered journey of love and acceptance. Flamboyance and intimacy meet in a psychedelic techno-spiritual realm, introducing a reign of love in the shape and form only Carlos Ucedda is capable of sculpting.
The magic of Carlos happens in his home studio, where the artist-producer combines his love for opera vocals, surging electronica, and the sound of Neye Deutche Härte, a German dance-metal. His lyricism is inspired by spiritualism, and numerous metaphors are included to add layers of meaning to the story. For “Dose of Love”, the recipe has techno powers and the infectious flow of house, making for a perfect stage for what is taking place in the lyrics.
Inside, a story of patience and persistence reveals itself. This tale, perhaps told from the viewpoint of someone embarking on a journey of long distance relationship, embraces love and its power at transforming people into their best selves. Love gives them wings and unites souls, even those living at continental distances. Love stops at nothing.
Carlos Ucedda has also prepared a music video for the song, which features the artist in foggy sunset landscape riding on the feeling of love. Wings, here in the form of parachute lifted by the wind, and passion-driven dancing offer a potent visual to the song’s storyline. Check it out below:
Carlos remains busy in his studio pouring his heart and soul into new projects, one of which is a nearly-finished song made in collaboration with a yet unnamed but prolific DJ. The artist’s works will also be screened in art galleries later this month, starting from Plaza de Callao in Madrid from September 18 to 21. Events in Venice and Buenos Aires will follow later.
