London-based experimental music artist and songwriter Kat Kikta is back with “Electra”, a brand-new composition released under her spiritual alter-ego Sophia Aya. Unfolding as a powerful track that also provides a peaceful environment for contemplation and self-reflection, “Electra” finds itself as Sophia’s most accessible song to date. “The scale of the journey and the distances involved are not important. It could be souls traveling between galaxies, or it could be a journey of an impulse traveling though a nerve in a human body”, Sophia says. It’s an immersive track filled with textures that intertwine softly but surely, creating an ambiance of quiet wonder through openness. “Electra” is a curious composition that focuses on what’s not explicit, adding gentle layers of synths and nature-inspired sounds that come from the depths and never fully surface.
