Life is known to be uncertain, but the current wildly changing reality everything feels even less reliable. Those unsteady days are quick to dampen any light that might exist in a person’s eyes, making carrying on a dreadful task in itself. When life itself comes to break your dreams, it feels really similar to being cheated on by someone you thought was the one. But unlike romantic relationships that take two to tango, these are lonesome heartbreaks that remain undisclosed.
Those invisible battles are brought out to daylight in the single’s captivating atmosphere. Heavy reverb gives a drenched feel, creating a visual of rainy cold season in a busy gray city, and glistening melodies reflect the melancholic moods longing for a breather and some sun.
Seemingly endless rain and strong winds of change form a contrast with the inner desires spoken by emotional vocals. Looking longingly back towards easier times, and with fear towards the bleak presence (future is way too uncertain now to even consider looking at), the haunting yet soft voice represents the flame of a soul. It does not like change that much, and cold rain synonymous to indifferent society dampens the inner shine.
