Aptly titled “Welcome Back”, the track brings his experimental brand of alternative hip-hop to life through both classic dynamics and innovative production choices. The song comes after last year’s “V.I.P.” AND finds the artist at his most melodic and also at his SHARPEST.
The Sydney-based rapper has produced “Welcome Back” once more alongside BULLZEYE in a myriad of influences that highlight MUNZER’s talent as a rapper. The track incorporates stunning urban storytelling taken from the same edge found on some of the best Kendrick Lamar songs, tightly packed with Arabian flourishes and 90s progressions. It’s an ever-evolving ball of energy, constantly playing around with tension and release.

MUNZER does an excellent job in setting the record straight, rising as a well-rounded rapper who won’t take abuse from anyone. The latest single from this Aussie artist perfectly captures his experimental side while still looking back to his own start in the hip-hop world, channeling his own “To Get A Bankroll”.
