Born from a desire to capture the feelings summer brings with the arrival of warmth and long sunny days, the meticulously created album reflects all the wonderful things that summer is known for. “Summer Vibes” was inspired by the beaches of Maldives with their bright white sand as well as Croatia’s stunning coastline. When making the release, Mark Wink brought in influences from 1970s Italo summer classics and Barry White’s soulful voice. He wasn’t in to make another fleeting trendy album; quite the contrary. Mark Wink’s “Summer Vibes” is meant to last a lifetime of summers. All 7 of its anthemic songs carry a perfect blend representing the modern and new, and the nostalgic and timeless.
