It’s you and the night, and you’re up staring at the bright glow of the full moon, as well as into yourself longing for self-actualization. In this solitary spot, a metamorphosis is about to start, as the single brings forth vocals shouting powerful lines out into the vastness.
In this dark atmosphere, the moon’s presence is turning the song into an electric anthem of letting go of your fears and undoing the protective walls hiding yourself from the world. A bass-heavy 4-on-the-floor beat follows to give more fuel to the transformation in addition to inviting everyone onto the dancefloor to let loose. The lyrics, directed at the glow of moon, carry immense amounts of weight as thoughts of self-protection and self-actualization fight each other, and tonight it might finally be the time, when the walls come down and you expose your true self to the world.
This anthemic EDM track of hope and following your calling was co-created with UK-based producer Ethan Cronin. Whilst working with him, Michellar took the chance to dive deeper into EDM and blending its ethereal, immersive qualities with her cinematic storyteller songwriting. This song was made to transform darkness into inspiration and the night into a time of introspection and rebirth.
