For You Brother, a duo of Aiken-based musicians, has just dropped their new song “Waiting on the Train”. Built from the themes of hope and a strong faith, the single gazes at these uncertain times that often come by to all of us. When all you can do at a given moment is to wait and see, it’s easy to lose your head into clouds of worry. “Waiting on the Train” will sweep the clouds away with pure faith and hope, and replaces dread with excitement.
The waiting platform of a train station is a lone traveller’s often visited place. A metaphorical place where there’s a cryptic timetable, a desolate bench carrying marks from previous passengers, and where the mind often lacks any real idea which upcoming train to catch. A busy searcher has many trains to choose from, a fearful one misses all but the very last. That’s life.
Vibrant guitars introduce a sunny elevated atmosphere and lands in the driving energy of rock music. Those same emotions along with joy and hope are reflected in the vocals that seem to come straight from “I feel so good to be alive!” notion. A brand-new day is celebrated as another chance to live and experience new things, and the gratitude also reaches back to the journeys and paths that have shaped the traveller to who they are today.

For You Brother is an alias of two brothers by music. One of them is John Davis (not the Milli Vanilli singer), an accomplished musician, producer and so much more, who has written hundreds of songs across genres and has been featured in lots of visual media. The other, Jean Carllos is an artist best known for his work in Brazilian Christian rock band Oficina G3. Two artists, both with diverse background and musical strengths, have come together to spread the love for God through music, the medium they believe is the most powerful at uniting people.
