This godless collaboration features two of Britain’s most distinguished bands: 9 o’clock Nasty (The Nasty) and The Qwarks present pocket opera “Mickey Humper”, a two-track EP that screams originality and stands for dog’s sexual rights… They’re about a dog-loving its toy a little too much.

What’s going on ladies and gentlemen, welcome back! It’s ya boy MadZen, and today we will prepare for the arrival of this pretty peculiar release. The Nasty & The Qwarks, The Qwarks & The Nasty. What could possibly go wrong?
Inspired by the emotional tale of Ludo, a dog who featured in an online conversation between these mates and who loved his Mickey toy just a little too much for polite company, the British bands, enchanted by the tale of adoration and pure animal lust, decided to join forces and wrote a Pocker Opera about it.
“In his relentless physical pumping Mickey Humper demonstrates that we are not the slaves of global media empires. We salute our comrades, The Qwarks.” – 9 o’clock Nasty
So, yes my friends, the tracks you will listen to are about (one-sided) love, lust, and maybe even a bit of voyeurism. Two very different tracks but very good nonetheless. While The Qwarks bring the psychedelic energies and the harmonious chorals, The Nasty brings the four-on-the-floor, the characteristic hymns, and the gang vocal chants inspired by that classic song about some guy named Mickey (which took me years to realize that it wasn’t Mickey Mouse).
But anyways guys, as odd as this might seem, both tracks are truly entertaining and extremely fun. Two powerful, and cynic, energies colliding into each other and marveling us with their catchy moves… and a slight sense of discomfort. Just like Ludo!
