ALL ALBUMS/EPS SUBMITTED AND
DISCOVERED VIA MUSOSOUP
.- There have been a number of notable mad scientists throughout history. Robert G. Heath, Paracelsus, Dr. Frankenstein, the list goes on! However, none of them have ever tapped into the immense power of Rock music quite like Professor B. Miller and his robot lead singer SPO-20. Together they have quenched our human race’s insatiable thirst for all things Rock. Be it Metal, Surfpunk, Ska, Synth-wave, or mind-bending … Christmas carols? That’s right, I speak of nonother than Satanic Puppeteer Orchestra!

.- Folk melodies, poetry, and a whole lot of heart fit inside Cornelius Eady Trio’s new EP called “Withstand”. Released just recently on August 11th, “Withstand” fits into the uneasy political climate of today and makes a successful effort in lifting off some of the dread by reminding its listeners of things that are easily forgotten. A major one of those is – no matter how dark the situation, we’re in it together. You can keep reading our review here.
.- Hover Bird‘s “Place I want to be” ” is an alternative rock music with female vocals. It leads the listener through 5 stages of grief: each song tells about 1 of them and moves from denial of what’s going on to acceptance of a changing world.
.- Reaffinity “Tether“. Drawing inspiration from rock, indie, alternative metal, post-grunge and post-punk, REAFFINITY’s sonic landscape is a captivating blend of pressurized syncopation and melodic introspection. With atmospheric soundscapes and brooding guitar riffs that intertwine with emotive vocals, REAFFINITY creates an experience that resonates the energetic and evocative melodies.
.- Melt “Replica of Man“. A nine-track album that traverses genres ranging from stoner and psychedelic rock, to ’80s-era thrash metal and everything in between, and delves into topics like armageddon, religion, technology, shame, and greed.
.- The Radio Makers are a Bristol-based band who cross pop, rock, indie, and glam to deliver catchy original anthemic tunes, and they dropped their debut album “Lucky Stars“.
.- Sophia Petro debut EP “The 11th Hour”. The 5-track body of work is a reflection on Petro’s journey into adolescence as a young female, exploring themes of childish infatuation, feeling alone, finding sisterhood, and falling in love (and then falling again). With complex lyricism beyond her years, Petro’s country-tinged pop productions are relatable, honest, and sincere.
.- Melanie A. Davis‘ third studio album, “Honey Locust,” is a 13-track collection of jazz, folk, and doo-wop-inspired songs that explore the seedy truths that hide beneath familiar tropes of American existence: patriotism and lack thereof, senses of belonging and self, social responsibility, and love — an arsenic-laced, all-American apple pie cooling in the window, tempting you closer.
.- White Beast “Suffering Time” If you like noise rock this duo playing only bass and drums is the right stuff for you.
