Norwegian singer-songwriter Robert Vendetta is back to release his second single of the year, “Here And Now”. Due out on August 29th, the song aims to remind us what’s really important and to recognize all that we have already achieved, and it does so in a beautiful heartfelt ballad form.
OUT NOW!

In a world where hustling and working for future goals is highly endorsed, it has become really easy to miss out on the current moment in life. Robert Vendetta was similarly focused on what the future brings most likely to the point of fatigue, until a good friend of his gave influential advice. “What about stopping looking ahead and living in the moment?”, they had suggested, and that was a turning moment that became the basis of this new song.
“Here And Now”, the personal anthem of a ballad begins softly with just the piano and Robert’s emotional vocals. Heavy with realizations, the song builds itself upwards towards the new vision of life that’s highlighting the importance of enjoying the very moment and all the current achievements. The cinematic song soon expands to include a whole band in a thundering march before fading into a soulful jazzy atmosphere dubbed by the artist as “plastic soul”.
The soulful elevating song has Robert Vendetta on piano and vocals, and working closely with his band consisting of Anders Jansvik on drums, Torunn Christelle on mellotron, and Håvard Solli on bass.
In the end, we only have one life, so why spend it worrying about the future?
