ALL ALBUMS/EPS SUBMITTED AND
DISCOVERED VIA MUSOSOUP
.- We’ve talked about it several times, we’ve all been eagerly waiting for it and it is finally here! I am, of course, speaking now about the new album from German producer Matthias Schorer under the moniker De Antiquis Et Novis. The futuristic retro-disco-inspired dance album from Matthias is simply called Dance! and there really wasn’t a better title for it.
.- On September 8th, Bloomfield Machine released his newest full album titled “Left to Our Own Devices“. With this LP the artist invites us to see the current world through a different lens, one that highlights how quickly everything keeps developing. Now, while people have started taking bigger steps into the realm of AI and using it in daily life, Bloomfield Machine concentrates on the lives of average people living in the fast-changing technological world. You can keep reading our review here.
.- bigbaldben “Resurrection,” In his own words: “The album is a personal journey for me as I return to being an artist after nearly 20 years. I hope you will find my mix of metal and grunge with unique vocal harmonies enjoyable and interesting! You can read our review here.
.- Lara Eidi‘s debut album “Sun” in her own words: “Even on the darkest of days, there is always Sun… I like to believe that on the hardest of days, I can breathe love into the world. I can feel the sun, touch down and converse with gravity. I can choose to let go and forgive, and I can choose to ride the tide as it comes and get ready for the unexpected wave. After all, all we can do really is hang on, forgetting the Damien’s of this world. Maybe then when I’ve embraced it all, maybe then everything will turn out fine. Maybe then, we’ll find the Sun, within.”
.- Mourning Moon and Knight‘s debut EP “I Should Go”. The EP was entirely recorded and produced by the band. In their own words: “The three tracks are prologues of sorts to three stories that we want to tell. Each tale started with one of us, but all of us together will really bring these narratives to life.”
.- Emily Manuel‘s debut EP “Live Forever” in her own words: “At its core, each track is focused on beauty. Throughout the EP there is a classical layer and a jazz layer, and it is wrapped in an Indie package. In many ways, this is music for art lovers. Some of the tracks, e.g., Live Forever, When This is Over, and Scrawl, are inspired by other existing art and poetry and translated them into music, taking on its own identity in the process”.
.- “No More Blue Tomorrows” is the high energy alt-country/rock/americana/punk debut album by the Boston rock band of the same name. Several years in the making, the album harnesses the energy and raw power of the 100+ live shows the band has played in the last few years, with nuanced, emotive, and nostalgic songwriting harkening back to a musical identity which has been largely untapped for the past few decades.
.- This is the debut multi-track release of American pop rock artist Lee Miller Matsos, and a follow-up to his two well-received singles from late 2022: The Only One and Life Force Lullaby. Metamorphosis, Pt. 1 is an EP with stirring lyrics, enthralling hooks, and haunting backdrops.
.- Makeup “Calm Down, It’s Not Over Yet” in his own words: “This is my debut EP. It is four songs exploring the anger, grief, and finally, acceptance that comes with being told the world might end before you’re able to find out who you’ll grow to be.”
