The next song might be the one. We Wasted All Our Memories is probably not it, but we’re really excited about it. I think it shows who we are – Johan, Mattias, Daniel and I. We Wasted All Our Memories is the the sophomore co-op single by Emerald Park, Danish Daycare and The Lonely Sasquatch. The tempo is higher this time and the song almost has a dance-feel to it. The emotional mood follows its precursor though – the Nordic melancholy which is signified by a nostalgic hopefulness. We have been inspired by bands such as Stars, Loney Dear, Arcade Fire and New Order in this process.
Mat Hook’s “Alone You Go” Released November 24th
I wrote this song back in 2018, the first song I wrote back since leaving the band Kartica in 2014.

It was written when I was going through a really rough time in life (breakup, baby, unemployed, depression and struggling with grief over my dads death) it’s a song about trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

A new single from London-based trio JW Paris titled “Alive” tears apart the framework of modern societal expectations and the pressure to conform. It’s a conversation between your own internal monologue and your authenticity, in a world of deep fakes, AI, and incredible social tensions.
