ALL ALBUMS/EPS SUBMITTED AND
DISCOVERED VIA MUSOSOUP
.- I Panic aka Dutch musician Marcel van Tetering is back with eyes full of excitement – he has a debut EP up his sleeve and ready for release. The EP, titled “Growing Up in Public”, stands as a glorious milestone of artistic development for I Panic, and offers a lovely compilation of introspective emotions carefully packaged in bedroom indie folk sound. You can keep reading our review here.
.- “Rise” is the third release from Reykjavik-based Red Barnett, following two award-nominated albums, ‘Shine’ (2015) and ‘Astronauts’ (2020). The music of Red Barnett has often been described as cinematic and epic, as well as featuring melancholic melodies in delicate acoustic arrangements.
.- LP1 is the culmination of a journey of sonic destructuring started by Uragano ten years ago. Vectorial post hardcore that drags the listener into a vortex of emotions and unsettling situations, like a soundscape that changes color and shape with each riff.
.- ‘Dear Diary,’ is like Hannah Montana but for adults. Letting people to unleash their inner child. It’s a concept EP about being ambitious, the struggles and obstacles that come with that. Robbie Z focuses on escapism, from his pop-rap-punk-rock sonics to the bright visuals, everything is linked within the artist universe.
.- Debut album by Eckman & Borelius “Picking Up The Pieces” in their own words: “You won’t hear the typical pop arrangement or the beat of drums and base. Our music strives to make the listener felt at-ease and maybe drift away in their minds.”
.- “Growing Pains (Anthems for Late Bloomers)” debut EP by ETAN. In her own words: “I finished recording and producing my debut EP, just before the pandemic in 2020. In the past years I have been releasing it slowly, and earlier this year I released it in full. I hope the album concept, theme and songs will resonate with you as it does with Rolling Stone, Wonderland and almost 100k people that have already listened to this project.
.- Randan is Ciaran Daniel, a singer, songwriter and guitarist based in London. Originally from Glasgow, Ciaran weaves his Scottish heritage into heartfelt folk-rock and indie tunes. “Silence Breaks Through” is Randan’s debut EP, released on 16th February 2024. The four tracks were written in an earlier part of Ciaran’s life and record a period of change and upheaval.
.- A project concept formed in 2021, Butterfly Bulldozer is a story of space travel energized by the post-punk and psychedelic sounds of Captain Fuzz, 0B-1, Zarkor, Rocket and Professor Tricks aboard the spaceship. Ranging from the modern groove of Squid and the loudness of Slift to the noisy pop of Pond, the group’s first release The Great Becoming Of Captain Fuzz released on February 16th, 2024. It is a prologue recounting the meeting of the crew, all motivated to build a spaceship to escape the ecological and social problems of a planet in decline.
.- This is a first release from the Steve Sandberg Dream Music Project, inspired by an idea from the pandemic. In 2020, Steve reached out to his email list, asking them to send in their meaningful dreams and offering to set them to music. He received many amazing dreams about healing, visiting with departed relatives, transformational experiences and more — this is the first recording of some of these songs. This is a followup to Steve’s first recording, Alaya, featuring Snarky Puppy’s Zach Brock.
