UK-based singer-songwriter Steve Young is gearing up to release his newest single “Feelin’ Fine”. While the song itself is to be released a little later in the month, its music video is out now to tell an audiovisual story of good times along with not so good ones. “Feelin’ Fine” is a song of a musician gigging around, meeting fans, falling for one particular lady fan and getting broken up with not long after – a whole bunch of events condensed into one easy-going and endearing rock tune.

The story Steve Young tells is a densely packed one as it runs through the entire course of a fan + artist romance, but “Feelin’ Fine” has somehow managed to spread it out to give each moment its time. And while retelling the events through Steve’s fairly crystal-clear and poetic lyrics, the song has this level-headed state of mind. “Feelin’ Fine” recognizes the feelings love can bring, such as this intense elevation at the beginning and the deepest abysmal states when things fall apart, but it also recognizes life has more to it than one failed relationship. So, let’s celebrate!
Done in the heartwarming color of classic rock and home to some fabulous guitar solos, Steve Young shows his songwriter prowess through giving more intense moments a suspense through music and rocking out the emotions in choruses. Being so well-paced at its core, the single manages to get people stripping their clothes off to get down yet tell the tale of a relationship freaking out with measured clarity.

And speaking of stripping clothes off, the music video also points at the “there’s more to life” clause by showing fans old and new getting down, as well as the band members having fun playing. So, in the end, the lady has gone her path, but all friends are still around to be a part of this night.
