.- February is set to end with transcendental tones, for Mary Knoblock that released her new full-length album “Halo” on 29th. On this record the Oregon-based singer-songwriter grows a pair of angelic wings and embarks on a journey through life and its mysteries, pains and uplifting moments, which have been translated into poignant, ethereal songs. 5.- Los Angeles-based indie rock trio StandBy just released their much-anticipated debut album, All for Nothing, after a successful run of singles that started with “Do It Again” almost two years ago. Their debut album is one that hits the ground running and never fully stops, managing to keep the high energy pace with ease and grace. You can keep reading our review here.
.- Tim Holhouse “Year” Musically, Year represents a significant departure from Tim’s previous work. Described as “emo grunge” or “the most 90s album not recorded in the 90s”; this release marks a bold exploration into a more straightforward rock sound. Year is the next step in his artistic evolution.
.- KARINA “what happened to the little girl?” In her own words: “I have been singing and songwriting since I could talk so coming out with this album has been surreal for me. Each of these songs touch on difficult topics. The overall theme for the album is nostalgia as well as growing up with trauma. I want people to be able feel like they’re not alone in the feelings they have.”
.- Hailing from Cardigan Bay, Songwriter / producer Rye Milligan, has been cutting his teeth in London as an independent artist. Last Friday he released his new EP “ii”.
.- lovepune “By Desing” in her own words: “This will be my first EP release under this artist name. It’s mostly a project that was written, produced and mastered/mixed by LGBTQ+ women which I feel is hard to come by these days. It’s a modern testimony to the misogyny we face in the music industry. Not only it is Indie electronic pop but it has ethereal/experimental elements which I feel is very big at the moment. “
