Jed and the Microwave “Ahead of the curve, Behind the Times” Released March 01st

Jed and the Microwave is a power pop project from Bristol, UK. An evolution of Jed Downey’s Plain Microwave, the music has taken a step from thoughtful and dark into a more burnt-out, raw and drunken territory. Ahead of the Curve, Behind the Times channels the stylistic elements of the music of The Cars and Phil Collins into a more guitar centric, raw, riff driven romp of hooks and solos that will wrap around your head like a bandage on the bump on your head.

ORDER “A HEAD OF THE CURVE, BEHING THE TIMES” ON BANDCAMP NOW!

The song stumbles through the incoherent thought process of an individual who tries to understand the culture of today, resolving to give up and do what they desire instead. Expect a chorus that wraps around your head like an ouroboros, as well as a facemelter of a sloppily recorded guitar solo.

La Marti “Black Snowflakes” Released March 01st

Black Snowflakes is the only English song that opens the new EP called Anime Fragili (which means Fragile Souls). This new project develops romantic topics and a various sound that experiment between classic folk rock and indie pop.

PRE-SAVE “ANIME FRAGILE”

“Black Snowflakes was written for a singer-songwriters meeting organized by Patti DeRosa and Marisa Gareffa and held at “Sotto Al British”. I was given two random words (at first almost impossible to use) and I had 1 month to write a song and play it at the following meeting. I went to bed but couldn’t sleep. I was having lots of sleepless nights but that one was worse.

So, I started putting down some lyrics and finally, in one day, I had the song! Music, lyrics and tears were flowing so easily. I thought I had lost the ability of writing but eventually I had a full song in such a little time and became so impatient to play it on stage. It was the best therapy I could ask for.”
