“I think this release is a signpost for my songwriting. This song has deep meaning to me and I think because of that, it will have deep meaning to others who want to achieve their highest potential.”

Bryce Evans

Bryce Evans (guitars, vocals) and Colin Brown (drums) are two musicians from Longmont, Colorado who first came together in 2021. After pushing one of their tracks over 24K streams on Spotify, playing the whisky a Go-Go in their second year, and playing their first festival in 2023, these guys are really giving it everything they got to make a name for their selves.

“Moonlight” is a double track EP, created to fight the feeling of not doing everything you can to make your dreams a reality. It includes lead track “Moonlight” and “Stratosphere”. Both tracks with a very bluesy foundation, yet, inspired by Hard and Alt Rock bands like Three Days Grace, Shinedown, Tool, and even My Chemical Romance.

“I wrote Moonlight because I felt inside I wasn’t doing enough to capture my dreams. I felt like I was wasting time and it came down to ” get busy living, or get busy dying” as the song says.I heard that line from the movie Shawshank Redemption.”

Bryce Evans

Captivating and full of emotion, the EP was inspired by the idea of “Memento Mori” or “Remember your death is real”. In Bryce’s own words: “Achieving your dreams can be hard but it’s worth the fight, just like it takes a fight to get out of the earth’s stratosphere.

The song “Moonlight” is heavily based on the idea that we all die someday, and you must stop wasting your time and live your life to the fullest. “Stratosphere” is based on the idea that if you believe in yourself you will
reach your dreams. But you better hurry, because “We’re all dead in the end, waiting for our hospital bed.”
