Four tracks, inspired by some of the greatest “90’s Alternative” bands to ever do it. Like Linking Park, Breaking Benjamin, and Disturbed. All pretty unique, not only from each other, but inside the whole genre as well. Maybe due to Noiz Ritual not being afraid to include Punk and even Prog into their compositions!

A lot of good can be found within “Embrace The Noiz”, but also a bit of fine tune could be made for them to really elevate their music to the next level.

Musically, they are, as I mentioned, pretty unique, so that’s a big plus, and you can tell that they really love what they do.

Personally, what I would love to see is them putting a bit more emphasis in the main guitars. Yes, vocals and drums are important, but what we’ve learned from years and years of heavy genres is that a sharp/clear, well-rounded guitar sound makes around 70% of a great heavy song.

I’m not trying to say that it’s a bad tone, not at all. But a bit muddy, and “in the back”, as the drums act as a dominating element over them, mainly the snare. Despite that, the EP is truly an outstanding debut, so let’s talk about the tracks within it.

“I Wanna Know”: Lots of Myles Kennedy vibes, specifically in the vocals. Modern grunge blent with hard rock. Although reminiscent of the aforementioned artist, the vocalist still manages to sound his own. I would love to hear him explore more, to try and make these differences much more defining and really expand the bridge between him and any other singer.

“Abuse Me”: Interesting guitar harmonies, though, they only appear once. Cool bridge with screaming vocals. This is what I mean when I say he could explore a bit more. His screaming vocals are awesome, maybe exploit that in the future? Also, a pretty tight guitar solo. Clean, and dexterous.

“Feeling Death Inside”: Pretty different from the two previous tracks. Epic energy mixed with a dark/mellow ambience and a powerful last section. Most exciting track.

“Robocop”: Punk meets Rock. Heavy, convincing, but the lack of clarity in the guitars was a bit frustrating. It also comes with humorous lyrics directed towards the 80’s hero, as well as a nice wah-wah guitar solo with a classic vibe.

The EP comes to a nice little ending with Robocop’s vocals telling us good night. Comical, and may I say charming from these guys. I believe they have a lot of room for growth sonic-wise, and with just a bit more of experimentation with the vocals, Noiz Ritual might just truly become a beast of their own accord.
