British Indie Rockers, Chandra, return with the single “Lifted”. A feel-good track dedicated to those days when everything just seems to be going your way, and to all the little moments in life that bring us joy.

After releasing their previous three singles Pretty, Smile (No Fox Gibbon), and I’ll Be There, The Bristol-based musicians are back with a new song that aims to lift up our spirits in the gloomiest days. “Lifted” continues with Chandra’s characteristic positive message and challenges the listener to sing along to this song and not be beaming by the end of it.
´Lifted´ is a celebration of that feeling you enjoy when you’re simply having the best day. When the train arrives on time, and you get your favourite seat… when you’ve booked the day off and the sun is shining…
The track opens up with a simple guitar riff, with frontman Chandra’s vocals delivering the initial verses. Soon, the kick drum comes in to pick up the pace of the beat and, before you know it, an almost cinematic instrumental floods your ears.
A beautiful choir of enchanting voices lifts us and takes us away, while the thumping drums set a solid and exciting foundation for every other instrument. The mix achieves to create a positive emotion on the listener, even if they’re not having the best day. As singer Chandra Nair notes:
“Having a brilliant day isn’t an everyday occurrence but the vibe is infectious. And something I’ve personally struggled with are the highs and lows of life. Sometimes you wake up and it’s hard to have a positive outlook on the day… But I’ve found that if you go into the day smiling and full of positivity, it affects everyone around you and you’re basically inviting good vibes…“
