Transcending Into The Unknown emerges as a new band crafted by a talented Norwegian family from the vibrant city of Trondheim. Born in 2023, it was founded by the skilled brothers Filip and Robert Dahl, alongside Filip’s son, Stian.
Their previous releases entitled “Transcending Into the Unknown (2023)” and “Giants (2024)”, were both highly acclaimed by reviewers for a unique blend of musical styles combined with great musicianship.
Their latest release, “Chronos”, expertly blends two contrasting styles into an amazing musical journey. It begins with enchanting acoustic instrumentals and seamlessly transitions into a thrilling Nordic Melodic Metal experience!
Lending her sweet voice to the tender section is vocalist Eva Halsetrønning Rambrau, a talented woman who initiated her career in the 70’s when she was just 14 years old.
Growling with impressive expertise, Robert confidently draws on his Nordic background to deliver a compelling saga of time, wolves, and full moons. The Metal instrumentation is flawless, showcasing the amazing talent of the family.
Prior to forming this band, they had never collaborated or played together. This was due to their very different musical backgrounds, preferences, and playing styles.
In the end, the single returns to its mellow beginnings, concluding with yet another impressive display of the Dahl’s mastery with their instruments as they showcase their distinct playing and performing styles through individual guitar solos.
