The single, titled “Evolution of the Heart” follows the mysterious paths of love and how it urges people to be vulnerable and give sacrifices. “Evolution of the Heart” is of love in all its various forms from the deep interpersonal feelings to the individual affections.
Warm guitar melodies open the indie song, intent on diving deep into the echoing feelings in the heart. Driven by subtle percussion and drenched in reverb, the heart’s changes in the face of love are keenly observed and put into words by emotive vocals.
What is normally preserved only for ourselves will become an offering for the loved person to feel better. “Evolution of the Heart” sees what is basically an ego death to support a relationship with someone highly important – a child, a partner to face life together, deep friendships to name a few. Love will reveal our true nature.
