American artist Micheal Fordays is already back with an impressive new single, shortly after the amazing “Here at the Gates” from mid-January. “The End of the Beginning” is his latest offering, once again co-produced alongside Dave Klein, and it shows the Los Angeles-based musician expanding upon the lovely power pop of his recent singles.

“The End of the Beginning” is an upbeat yet introspective track that deals intimately with the concept of time passing and how things change. The track feels like an open invite to seize the moment as everything will eventually pass, and it’s our own job to make the most of what we have now. It’s very impressive how Micheal tackles these issues avoiding many of the clichés that usually come with it and manages to make the track feel refreshing and new from start to finish.
It’s a very high-energy track that uncovers big thoughts with a casual approach, resulting in something that feels utterly timeless while also being a nice step forward in Michael’s artistry. The musician is at the top of his game, and you can tell by the levels of imaginative creativity that flow from him with every new release, as Micheal himself comments: “The road I’m on, this road of creativity and experimentation, following imaginative rivers of thought, it’s who I am and what I do. I don’t try to sound like anything or anyone. I write about what I know and what I’ve experienced.”
“The End of the Beginning” feels like a motivational track that finds its voice and pacing through the chaos of everyday life. It’s a reminder to stop and appreciate what’s in front of you and an invitation to change whatever it may be that might be holding you back, as no one is getting this time back. On his new single Michael does not go for subtlety, making his points very straightforward and clear with the surgical precision needed for life-altering decisions.
The track stands as very nice addition to his ever-growing discography, taking on themes of growth and transformation that can only come from within. “The End of the Beginning” stands another single taken from his upcoming album The Odds of Magic, due to later in the year, and another proof of his talent as a songwriter leaving us eagerly waiting for more.
