Hailing from Ireland, WhiteRoomNightmare is an Alt. Rock / Metal act created by self-taught musician Paul Anketell. He released his debut album “The Way of All Things” which was praised for being a cohesive album with a serious quality to the music.

“Where Only Machines Have Been” presents a modern instrumental that takes us back to the Prog-Rock and Metal era of the 80’s. High gain melodic riffs and a wall of sound act as the foundation for the song, while the powerful bass supports the push-and pull groove.
Vocals are high-reaching, decisive and cohesive, putting into words the last thoughts of an astronaut as they are cut adrift from a space station in lunar orbit, and float off into deep space.
With no way of returning home and no one around to hear him scream, the desolate astronaut accepts his fate as he wanders even further to where only machines have been.
The song’s melodic structure helps keep the journey exciting and evolving, jumping between exciting bridges and returning to the groovy verses and then to the epic chorus.
WhiteRoomNightmare probes that you can be a great musician, even if there’s no one around to teach you.
