The End Is Near teased us just about a month ago with Executioner, the single that gives its name to the full EP. Now, you are able to listen to the full package. An outstanding journey of heavy riffs, brutal screams and drums that cut like a knife.

“Executioner” holds nothing back as it delivers the most powerful and insane metal performances that I’ve listened to in a while. Pounding and aggressive (to say the least), each song ties with the next one in a very cohesive way.
The EP is intended to be listened to from beginning to end as a single experience of raw energy. Kick starts with the previous single “Executioner” and makes its way through three more tracks that will definitely leave you speechless.
Surprisingly refreshing, the EP also holds the essence of metal-core and death-core from past eras (which many of us grew up to and fell in love with) as it draws inspiration from iconic bands like 100 Demons, The Acacia Strain, and Despised Icon.
The second track “Death Is Freedom For Every Soul”, is the longest of the EP lasting only 2:39 minutes, but it’s just enough to leave you in awe with its incredible drum performance.
“Digging Ditches” features vocalist Alex Grunbaum, adding yet another layer of violence and aggression to the picture. Ominous guitar thrills and a slow pace that keeps getting more brutal by the minute until the last chorus hits.
“Grindhouse” closes everything up in an absolutely bestial manner, with yet another incredible drum performance that really took me back to my college days, when I attended underground metal-core events.
