The End Is Near is a formidable power trio from Orange County, CA, consisting of Tim Baker (Guitarist/Producer), Chris Hagen (Vocalist), and Drummer Nick Rickenbach. With two decades of relentless dedication to perfecting their tone and sound, they proudly present “Executioner” as the pinnacle of their musical journey.
The track bursts forth with an unyielding wall of sound, featuring blistering riffs, earth-shaking drums, and breathtaking screams. This bold introduction to their musical ethos ensures that anyone who listens is left saying, “woah.”
The trio confidently channels the raw energy of early 2000s Hardcore and modern Thall bands, expertly blending them with Hardcore elements to create a powerful Deathcore sound.
The lyrics vividly capture the primal fear evoked by a formidable, chain-dragging, axe-wielding 400lbs executioner. The final sight of many poor fools in years of ole.

One highlight of the release is that the drums were recorded using an electronic drum set. This gave the drums its precise and enormous sound. When talking about this, the band expressed:
