Cael Anton’s newest single is for everyone in need of a dance break. Titled “Got To Move” delivers just the right amount of energy to get even the stiffest bodies to move. Underneath, the song is an inspiring anthem about breaking free from a trapped state of life – you simply can’t continue sitting in that increasingly uncomfortable spot anymore, you’ve gotta move.

“I’m Canadian, but this song came to me while I was living in Seoul, South Korea. It was one of those rare moments when a song just drops in, fully formed, like a gift from another dimension. The groove hit me out of nowhere—suddenly, I was humming and tapping my foot. It felt familiar, but I couldn’t place it. Then it hit me: I wasn’t remembering a song, I was creating it. I grabbed my guitar, figured out how to play it, and within moments, the song was born.” Cael Anton
A good rhythm is required to gather the attention of that beat-seeking part of the human mind, and “Got To Move” has a perfect beat suitable for CPR rhythm. What else – Cael Anton has included brief silent breaks to spice things up, and after each break the song would gain a new layer to weave into the party of life.
Those layers consist of instruments of various kinds recorded live weaved together by electronica and tight production. The percussion kept building itself up right from the beginning, as did the melodies presented by guitars and other instruments, while Ciel Anton’s cheery and inspiring voice danced around with them towards the ecstatic high point. Freedom in movement, physically as well as in life, is a source of great feeling, and “Got To Move” is the embodiment of that flowing state of mind.
“Lyrically, the song works on two levels: on the surface, it’s about getting up and shaking what you’ve got, but deeper down, it’s about being stuck and finally breaking free! Got To Move came to me at a time when I needed a change, and shortly after I wrote it, change came rushing in.”

The layered works are present in the song’s music video as well, depicting the artist playing different instruments as they joined the party. Vibrant clips full of life echo the vibrant song, also full of life. Check it out below!
“My mission as a songwriter and producer is to lead listeners on journeys through fresh, unexpected perspectives. No two of my songs are alike, yet they all share a common thread: the fusion of the timeless and the innovative. By grounding my music in classic genres like rock, funk, and blues and combining them with cutting-edge sound design (elements of electronic, house, and DJ music), I bring the listener to a place that is both familiar and surprising all at once.” Cael Anton
Cael Anton, a Canadian multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer, is working his way towards a new album. “Got To Move” is the second single released from the upcoming album “Last Night In The City”, out later in the year. This release, which will also see Cael blend rock with electronica in most captivating ways, is created with the main motive of inspiring people to think and dance.
