Bristol’s own Pop-Rock band, Chandra, stands against greed in their upcoming single “We Want Our Planet Back”. A fierce and uplifting rock track that calls for action and unity against the powers destroying our planet.

If you don’t know by now, Chandra is one of Bristol’s busiest bands out there, and one that takes music very seriously. They have been featured several times in the blog, including releasing their debut EP “Lifted” last year, and the single from it, “Overload” just last month.
This year Chandra will be back with so much new music, that they have decided to release a new track every 8 weeks. “We Want Our Planet Back” is first on the list, and it is a hell of an opener.
The track acts as a statement, a strong desire to come together to take the planet back, despite all the awful political decisions that are trashing our future. Chris, Mike, and Chandra mixed this important call to action with their trademark vibe of having fun and not taking themselves too seriously, creating a perfect blend of message and energy.
“We Want Our Planet Back” features amazing guitar riffs, huge sounding drums, not to mention Chandra’s amazing vocal performance, perfectly layered and with a big stereo image that lights everything up.
This band always feels like an explosion of positivity and passion, and this release is not the exception. The song blows out of your speakers with indomitable energy, which is what makes Chandra’s music always so fun to listen to.
The music video will be very different, though. This time, it will be Heroes vs. Villains, done in an episodic manner that allows viewers to choose what they see next. You can check it out in the following YouTube playlist:
