Just one month after coming up with “Looked Good On Paper“, Canadian indie rock act The Muster Point Project is already back with new single “Stuck in Transit”. Featuring lyrics written by author Geoff Moore, the track follows their trend of expanding upon their own brand of folk-infused rock with shiny dynamics and impeccable storytelling.
On “Stuck in Transit” frontman and mastermind Kevin Franco delivers impossibly catchy melodies and a riveting production that borrows from 90s power pop. The result is a track that bounces between nostalgic musings and refreshing indie rock, breathing new life into his ever-evolving sound. “Stuck in Transit” was inspired by a real situation faced by the lyricist when he was visiting Amsterdam and tried to board the train through the exit door.
It’s a very amusing tale filled with great sense of humor and a brilliant juxtaposition between what actually happened and a fictionalized version of the events.
