Their psychedelic influences shine through, infusing the atmosphere with an eerie sense of drama that draws the listener in slowly, creating a fascinating ambiance. That is particularly true on the stellar opener “The Freakin’ Light Show”, featuring additional vocals from Bangkok-born singer Issara. Her vocals provide the track with soulful sultriness, adding layers of mystery and wonder to an already powerful song. Released as the final single before the full EP, “The Freakin’ Light Show” stands as a rejection of societal expectations represented by lustrous fame and power and does a great job in portraying a tightrope battle between resisting the allure and succumbing to it.
“If this is your first time with us, thank you for listening. Our music lives somewhere between the real and the surreal. It’s rooted in raw emotion, shaped by loss, change, and the search for meaning. You’ll hear echoes of psychedelic rock, blues, ambient textures, and something else we can’t quite name — we call it organic space rock.” Loup Miracle
Those themes of struggle and internal turmoils are woven all throughout the EP, as the dramatic implications of it all escalate as well. On the lead single “Drive Me Home”, the band dives in fully in an electronic post-grunge soundscape marked by heavy basslines and a claustrophobic atmosphere of distorted guitars and synths.

“Each song is a journey. Some are born from deeply personal moments, like Drive Me Home, written after the loss of a loved one. Others, like The Freakin’ Light Show, are snapshots of strange, revealing encounters with the world we live in. Our newest track, Back to You, ends in a whispered prayer to the Earth — a reminder of what holds us when everything else fades.” Loup Miracle
Its dynamic music video illustrates the juxtaposition of its themes with beautiful landscapes of thriving cities and magnificent space imagery, in a perpetual motion that just keeps going. Its lyrics reveal a somewhat hopeful undertone, commenting on the power of music inspired by life’s most vulnerable moments and culminate in an ecstatic and cathartic track that is breath-taking in its grandioseness.
The EP closes out with the epic six-minute title track “Back to You”, which contains chants in the Warao language sung by bassist Miguel Romero Sulbaran. “Back to You” unfolds as the centerpiece of the EP, filled with larger-than-life psychedelic sounds from the 60s and menacing feeling of conclusion. The track is centered around the themes of returning home, following the narrator going back to Earth after trying to escape into a different world. It’s an almost ritualistic track that comes full circle with the themes, ideas and sounds perfectly navigated by the band throughout the whole EP.
Back to You stands as a glorious record, showing the band delving into complex themes that are ultimately grounded in human connection. It explores those intricate narratives through elements of 70s space rock and classic psychedelics with a modern sci-fi twist to them. It’s an immersive experience of chaos and beauty not only coexisting, but being thrown against each other constantly. It’s a clash of sounds and ideas that feel exhilarating from start to finish, also showing the band giving a bold step forward in their artistry.

Loup Miracle created an EP that feels like a cinematic experience, filled with references that tie back to one another like the climax of a movie in the most satisfying way possible. It never strays away from its human core, but it also allows itself to expand beyond what is expected and it goes hard for the dramatic with unwavering disposition. It’s unafraid of how big and intense it can get, unravelling in odyseeic manners of epic storytelling. Edenville was already a great introduction for the band, but Back to You is the moment things change and evolve in a true rebirth and ascention for the trio.
