This is “Ordinary Things”, a song about daily little things with the dearest someone that may seem ordinary, but are something he would never in a thousand years change for anything else.

The sight of her face dug into the pillows, walking in the grocery store hand-in-hand and sitting on the couch thinking up dinner are parts of daily life made unforgettable by love, and it is those ordinary moments spent together that become sorely missed when she’s away.
“Ordinary Things” is two distinct feelings together in one song, where loveful melodies and soft vocals walk through sweet memories of simple things. Underneath the softness, a strong case of longing resides, a feeling most bitter, for the days spent without her are lacking all these beautiful little moments to behold and remember. Without her, the daily activities become just chores to do.
I Panic has ended up creating two versions for this song, as he couldn’t decide, whether to go for a rock ballad or stay with piano-led acoustic version. The rock version, featuring melodies soaring to celestial heights, holds a happier feeling inside with the memories of days spent together, while the piano ballad remains emotionally more vulnerable, the strings swelling between the sadness of longing, and the soft happiness of memories.
