Los Angeles based artist Tim springs to the scene with a new visionary single titled “Solo”. Spoken word surrounded by a dense veil of vibrating chords, the song explores deep inside the intimate layers of consciousness and dreams of a person, who had just entered the door to adulthood.
What happens in the walled-off realm of intimate self when one transitions from the tethered teenagerhood to adulthood? “Solo” follows this journey of an artist, who was just in a school bench not too long ago, dreaming about being rich while knowing what it’s like being poor and barely able to afford food. The dream state stream of thoughts sees the line between rich and poor blur, and a new wealth of consciousness forms.
“Solo is a place of riches in the consciousness, from bottom to the top. When I say bottom to top, I mean poor to rich, and you can see both levels if your poor. But it hit different when you imagine getting rich. You start thinking of all the things you would be and do. This is the only language you speak, this is the only thing you know and do.
But not just for you the whole world. When you make it it’s refreshing but when you dreaming of it it’s unstoppable. So imagine if you were poor before you got rich just thinking of being rich everyday. And the thought just creates its own room in your mind and you become it. That moment becomes everything in your life.”

As the all-encompassing synth chords take over the background, Tim’s stream of consciousness turns into softly spoken words with a deeply personal foundation. The dreams of wealth and imagining oneself with things one could buy with money have become a part of his consciousness, part of a driving force of life. If reality doesn’t yet match the dreams, “Solo” still remains the nostalgic place free of suffering, poverty and hunger.
“Solo” is part of a larger body of work, a mixtape called “Pink”. It’s a foundation of one’s presence, where the past meets the hopes for the future, and it’s served in hypnotic layered sound with the warmth of retro synths combined with spoken word of honesty. As a young creator finding his way in the messy and strange world as a fresh grown-up, Tim’s music shows that the hidden struggles and dreams are still common and relatable to all of us.
“Imagine getting everything you want in an instant every dream you have. Being recovered from hatred and suffering all in the same day if you got what you want instantly. Now imagine if it was all put in money or just riches in general and all your dreams and cries alliii in it. And that’s everything we are, all we do, all we know. You’re pulling up in a nice vintage 89 Ferrari and the current year 2025. You’d be cheesing ear to ear.”
